Set within the promenade of the mall, the Meilin Zhuoyuehui store sets itself apart from rest of the context through its inviting and warm facade. In contrast to the stark white exterior of the mall, the back lit exterior panels have a different story to tell at day and night. During the day, the facade invites customers with its warm organic lines which sets a tone for the rest of the interiors. At night, it picks the energy from the surrounding area and invites customers with intrigue.

Unique store layout with a satellite slow bar within a glass faceted structure. A mobile with metal fins above the bar highlights the structure. The metal inlays within both stores connects both the stores.Each store is capable of handling transactions individually with some main operations shared among both the stores

First to market- the Wanda complex is a high visibility new shopping complex. Situated at the intersection of the main streets,the ground level store needed to have a dominating exterior presence.Prerequisites from the LL were to adhere to a general recognized color palette, yet have an impactful entry.

First ever 24-7 Starbucks sporting the 'Reserve' brand in Shenzen,mainland China.
Industrial look and feel- reclaimed wood planks at wall and bar cladding. Wood slabs at community tables and bar countertop. Being one of the first few stores to open in the Shenzen area, the artwork in this reserve renovation resonates with the heritage collection.

Residential pilot concept in Shenzen. The store is surrounded by high end mid-rise buildings and commercial real estate.

Small kiosk style store with the need to incorporate a slow bar. With limited space to work with, we pushed the bar onto the lease line to provide more queuing space. Terracotta tiles clad the entire store to add more warmth and color to the surrounding mall context.
